At the end of every year my family rents a house somewhere in Colombia. This time, we chose Barichara. A small town in northern Colombia with whitewashed walls, Spanish colonial architecture and cobblestone streets.
i CAME HERE about 15 YEARS AGO BUT i DIDN’t really remember anything about the town. i was too little to actually pay attention to things that i am into now like how many cactus i saw in every corner (lol) which btw, i was in love with. it was cactus paradise.
The house that we rented was really cute. It was very spacious and my favorite part was that every single room had an outdoor shower.
i was there for four days and didn’t really have enough time to explore it all. however, i went on a hike, went to a waterfall, tanned (duh) and went out to eat a bunch (the food there is actually amazing).
i had such a blast in this hidden town. deff a must for when you go visit colombia!
